One of the things in life that I really like is traveling. A lot of people prefer to go to European countries, but for me, Asian region especially South East Asia still hold many things that mesmerizes me. For shopaholics, there are a lot of places to explore in South East Asia Countries like Singapore or Thailand. Singapore is the home of some of the most incredible shopping malls in the world. It is a small country located in an island that has giant reputation in the field of offering services. The things that tourists and shoppers usually look when shopping in Singapore is electronics and the best places to hunt for electronics in Singapore is the Sim Lim Square , IT Shows, Mustafa Centre, Lucky Plaza and Funan Digital Life Mall. You can easily go to any of this place using cozy public transportation such as busses, subways and taxies. So, one word to describe Singapore Shopping experiences is “amazing”.
Now let’s see what Thailand has to offer. If you go to Thailand, then you must visit Bangkok, The capital city of Thailand. Bangkok is such a tourist-infested city, shopping is easy around here. Shopping in Bangkok means having the option from high-end malls to the street markets selling cheap and chic stuff. Pretty much every street corner has shops or street vendors, especially at night, more so in the backpackers’ area, such as Khao San. And for every-day basic needs such as water, over-the-counter drugs, and refreshments, plenty of 7-11 or Watson’s around to get them. There are also traveling vendors, selling fresh fruits, snacks, sodas. Bangkok also has a lot of parks and spacious sidewalks, walking can be a fun experience, but be sure to pack up on hat, umbrella, and sun tan, because it can get pretty hot during the day. The shopping experiences in this city are as fun as Shopping in Hong Kong .
Although I have to admit, Shopping in Hong Kong offers something different that the two shopping heavens I mentioned earlier. The unique history of Hong Kong turned this city into a city with a lot of cultural mix. The fantastic part of this city is the mouth watering culinary experiences that you can find in every corner of Hong Kong. The shark’s fin soup is the icon of this city, but don’t be alarmed, it is only imitation shark’s fin, it is made from vegetarian ingredients since the law bans the real thing from the menu; however, the taste is pretty similar and has gained a lot of compliments from many people.
